Northern Ag Service, Inc. operates grain elevators and warehouses throughout the grain belt of the United States with nearly 50,000,000 bushels of storage capacity. We've been in business since 1982 and are constantly exploring opportunities to expand our services and profitability in the industry we know best.
In some locations we offer complete grain marketing services to our producer customers including a strong daily cash market, forward pricing, commodity brokerage, and on-farm pickup. Our grain merchandisers are available to discuss timely market information as it develops. Also, to help our producers achieve the lowest cost of production possible, we offer an array of crop nutrients and crop protection products at select locations at a price that offers the best possible return on investment.
In addition to regular grain, Northern Ag Service, Inc. is internationally recognized as the leader in providing fast, expert service for all types of distressed grain. Our experienced crews, trucks, and vacs get the job done quickly and efficiently, providing a solution to most grain or feed related situations.
In addition to purchasing and sales of ag products, Northern Ag Service, Inc offers warehouseing of agricultural and industrial materials throughout Middle America. For example, our ownership and operation of the Port of Evansville, Indiana on the Ohio River allows us to offer year-round transfer and storage of nearly any product imaginable. At the Port of Evansville, (Ohio River Mile Marker 793.1) we can off-load or load up to six barges simultaneously along with the rare ability to load or off load barges completely under roof inside the warehouse. Barge, Rail or Truck reload is all available here. It is very common to have products originating from around the world warehoused and handled here for multinational companies large and small.
